Leather Backpacks

The leather backpack you reach for without thinking, full-grain leather and solid brass that hold their shape even half empty.

Three backpacks. The Atlas is one size, built around a daily commute. The Helios and the Nomad both come in 18, 20 and 22 inch: 18 x 9 x 7 in takes a laptop and a day's things, 20 x 10 x 8 in adds gym gear or a change of clothes, and 22 x 10 x 9 in covers a packed week away. The Nomad's hide is embossed with the house monogram pattern before it is cut, so the texture runs through the panels rather than sitting on top of them.

Size down rather than up. A pack that is slightly too big gets filled until it is heavy and then sags; one that is right stays upright when it is half empty, which is what it looks like after two years rather than two months.
