A 16 inch laptop rides in its own padded compartment, which is the first thing a leather laptop backpack has to get right. Around it goes a change of clothes, a dopp kit, a book and cables, with three exterior pockets and one interior pocket for the small things. Full-grain leather over a shape-holding build, so it stands up loaded rather than folding in on itself. The back panel is structured, which is what keeps a heavy day comfortable. Will a 16 inch laptop fit in this backpack? Yes, in the padded compartment, and the rest of the space is still there for an overnight change of clothes. That is the case for one bag rather than two: it works as a commuter pack on a Wednesday and a travel backpack on a Friday, and the leather looks the same in both settings.
