Materials
A bag is only as good as what it's made from. Here's exactly what goes into a Frounder.
The leather
We build with premium leather — dense, strong, and alive to the touch. It doesn't wear out so much as wear in, deepening in colour and character with every year you carry it.
The monogram
Our motifs are engraved directly into the surface of the leather — the Signature diamond-f lattice and the Botanica floral vine. The grain stays intact beneath; the pattern is worked into the hide, not printed onto a coating. It's the detail that makes a Frounder a Frounder at a glance.
The hardware
Solid brass and stainless steel, chosen because they last. Zips, buckles, rings and feet are the parts that usually fail first on a cheap bag, so we don't cut corners here. Brass ages to a warm patina; steel stays sharp and corrosion-resistant.
The lining
100% cotton, with woven canvas where a piece needs extra structure. Natural, breathable, and tough enough to take the daily in-and-out of keys, cables, and everything else.
Built to outlast
Every material here was chosen for the long run, not the photo. That's the standard for everything we make.
