How many sticks does it take?

Ten to twelve, plus a drum key.

Does it stay still while I play?

Yes. It hangs close to the tom and the narrow profile keeps it clear of your playing hand.

Does the mouth stay open?

Yes. The leather is substantial enough to hold the mouth open at its angle through a full set, even half-empty.

How does it compare with the Clarks?

The Jou is shaped to hang on the floor tom for fast changes during a set. The Clarks travels with the full kit of implements — sticks, brushes, mallets and a key.

What is it made from?

Full-grain leather lined in cotton, with a solid brass clasp, rings and zipper.

Is the monogram included?

Yes. Up to three initials, engraved into the leather before the bag leaves the workshop, included in the price.

How do I care for it?

A dry cloth after a session, with a leather conditioner every few months.

When will it arrive?

Ships in 1–2 business days (monogrammed pieces take a little longer, as each is engraved to order). Delivery is 5–10 business days to the US, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and 7–14 elsewhere. US import duties are covered.
